We had a great time at our Pre-Thanksgiving day bash at STASH'S CAFE in New London, CT.
One of our favorite groups is WEEZER! This well crafted infomercial is not only hysterical but it's a genius marketing ploy for their new album Raditude. Check out Rivers Cuomo's expression about one minute in... classic! We salute Weezer for their unique spin on this pop culture fad and for their great hard rock sound! Dear Eva. 
Are we, as a country beginning to lose our collective minds? When did it become okay and mainstream to be rude just because we don't agree? Whatever happened to quiet dignity? What ever happened to actions speaking louder than words? What ever happened to being a good sport when you don't win? Since the presidential election the far right have been fanatical with ranting lies, scare tactics and heckling the president instead of reinventing and creating solutions. Kanye West jumped on stage and stole the spotlight from Taylor Swift in what was an obvious, pathetic self promotional stunt. And Serena Williams scolding a line judge in front of a huge crowd and on live TV because she didn't agree with the call. I can see this being a trend and I am personally ashamed that some of us just can't seem to keep our cool. It's okay to speak your mind but where is the line when it comes to being rude.
We are sad to announce that we will not be performing at Effin's Last Resort in North Smithfield, RI anymore. I guess we brought in too many people. We apologize to our peeps and remind you that we will try to make up some of the shows that were DROPPED on us at some point. In the meantime you can join us at the Luxury Box in Seekonk, MA on Saturday, September 26th.

I was at your show this past Saturday at Mohegan Sun and Wicked Peach was AMAZING! I don't know if you remember, but I was a part of Danielle's Bachelorette party. I am the Maid of Honor and Danielle's sister and I wanted her to have a great bachelorette party. We ate at Margaritaville before you guys came on and we weren't sure where the rest of the night was going to take us. We were about to leave when Wicked Peach performed. We wound up staying the rest of the night to watch you guys. Wicked Peach was the best band I have seen outside of a professional concert. I just wanted to thank you for making my sister's night so much fun. I live in the Bronx and hopefully Wicked Peach will do a show in New York soon because the group who I was with Saturday night has told everyone they know about the band. Thanks again and hopefully I can go to another show soon!Lauren"

Hey there! We would like to first thank all the people who came out to EFFIN'S LAST RESORT in North Smithfield, RI this past Saturday night! What a crowd! We will see you again on Saturday night, August 1st!

We hope that all of you had a great Memorial Day weekend. We here at the WP Camp certainly did! Whoo! We need a vacation from all the holiday activities!
As the band continues to evolve and reinvent ourselves throughout the years, there is one thing usually not mentioned...the crew behind the scenes. It takes more than just the band members to get this show up and running and we would like to finally take a moment to mention and give thanks to those who don't usually get any recognition for what they do.
Our sound techs Jim Landry of Noll Guitars and Jim Moulton of Moulton Sound. Having a great sound team is half the battle and with their experience and knowledge, we always know we will sound our best.
Our crew members Greg Cormier and Kevin Churchill wear many hats and are the best at getting the show up and running. They make sure the equipment is set up on time, the lighting is just right and are always there for anything and everything that comes up, including taking many of the pictures for our sites. In this business you never know what to expect. Kevin and Greg are always ready for anything with a professional attitude.
Bob Beaudoin has helped us with our mailing list, email blasts, web site and any promotional tasks we have needed since 1997. He is always there to lend a hand at helping us get our gig info to all our following.
Our team makes us look and sound great! It wouldn't be the same without them and we would like to say THANK YOU!!! Now... get back to work!
