Another Wicked Weekend!

We hope that all of you had a great Memorial Day weekend. We here at the WP Camp certainly did! Whoo! We need a vacation from all the holiday activities!

We want to remind you of some of the great summer shows coming up. We have our premier at the ESKER POINT BEACH concert series on Thursday, July 16th. 6-8PM. Then we move the show over to PADDY'S BEACH on Saturday night, July 18th. 10PM. This will be our ONLY show at Paddy's for the season!

Join us for an afternoon concert at BALLARD'S on August 15th on Block Island 1PM, right on the beach!

We will kick off the summer this weekend at STASH'S CAFE in New London, CT on Friday, May 29th at 10PM. This will be our last Stash's show for the season. See you in the fall!

Then we're off to ONE PELHAM EAST in beautiful Newport, RI on Saturday, May 30th at 10PM. Newport, Wicked Peach and summer nights? Sounds like summer love to us!

The WP boys would like to thank everyone for coming out to THE HARD ROCK CAFE and EFFIN'S LAST RESORT to say hello and help us celebrate Memorial Day 2009! Let's not forget the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for our freedom to go out, have a good time and make fools of ourselves (once in a while). To them we say THANK YOU!

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY

Two Cats. One zoo.

2 Cat Zoo was an idea conceived by me back in 2003. A lot of local musicians were performing acoustically so I figured why not give it a try. There was only one person I had in mind as a partner and that was Dan Watson. At the time Dan was in Sugar Daddy and he explained that his schedule was too hectic and he would not be able to commit to the project. I moved on with the project with a female vocalist, but it didn't seem to be working so I put the project on hold.

I finally had enough! I tackled Dan one night as he was leaving Stash's Cafe and gave him a severe beating and told him if he valued his life, he would do this project with me. He gladly complied. Since then it's been a great 6 years... WOW! Has it been that long? We've built a very nice following and play great places. Check it out for yourself! Tonight (5/21) we will be at BRUNA'S TABLE on 12 Canal St. in Westerly, RI at 9PM.  For all 2CZ dates go to myspace/2catzoo

Practice makes perfect.

When you're in a working rock band it is very difficult to find a warm, clean and safe place to get loud. Luckily we found the perfect place and wanted to share it with you.  Jam Stage on 25 Esten Ave. in Pawtucket, RI is an affordable studio where any band can go to rehearse for an upcoming show, write music or just go to make some noise. Jam Stage is the perfect place!

Hard Rock Cafe

Wicked Peach is finally back at the HARD ROCK CAFE at Foxwoods Resort Casino on Friday night, May 22nd and we hope you will join us for a great night of food, fun and great rock music with yours truly. The Hard Rock Cafe is a great place to catch a Wicked Peach show so don't miss out!

You can also catch us on Saturday night, May 23rd at EFFIN'S LAST RESORT in Smithfield, RI.

This is a shout out to all our Rhode Island fans! Always an effin good time!

Behind the band

As the band continues to evolve and reinvent ourselves throughout the years, there is one thing usually not mentioned...the crew behind the scenes.  It takes more than just the band members to get this show up and running and we would like to finally take a moment to mention and give thanks to those who don't usually get any recognition for what they do.

Our sound techs Jim Landry of Noll Guitars and Jim Moulton of Moulton Sound.  Having a great sound team is half the battle and with their experience and knowledge, we always know we will sound our best.

Our crew members Greg Cormier and Kevin Churchill wear many hats and are the best at getting the show up and running.  They make sure the equipment is set up on time, the lighting is just right and are always there for anything and everything that comes up, including taking many of the pictures for our sites.  In this business you never know what to expect.  Kevin and Greg are always ready for anything with a professional attitude.

Bob Beaudoin has helped us with our mailing list, email blasts, web site and any promotional tasks we have needed since 1997.  He is always there to lend a hand at helping us get our gig info to all our following.

Our team makes us look and sound great!  It wouldn't be the same without them and we would like to say THANK YOU!!! Now... get back to work!

There are no excuses to not come out to see the band this weekend! Join us for two shows at Margaritaville located in Mohegan Sun this Friday AND Saturday starting at 9:30 pm. Come party with us like its Summer in Key West!

WP Rocks CT College 2009!

Thanks to the students of Connecticut College for such a warm welcome and great time! The sun came out, the band rocked out and the students partied hard! See you all out soon.
